Method 1:
Step 1: Man buys a laptop for $500. He sells the laptop for $600. So profit: $600-$500=$100
Step 2: He buys back the laptop for $700.
Profit: $100-$700 =-$600
Step 3: He sells the laptop for $800. He gets $800.
Profit: -₹600+$800=$200
Method 2:
Step 1: Man buys a laptop for $500. He sells the horse for $600. So profit: $600-$500=$100
Step 2: Again, he buys a laptop for $700. He sells the laptop for $800.
So profit: $800-$700=$100 Total profit $100+$100=$200
Method 3:
Money he spent on buying is $500+700=$1200 Money he got on selling is $600+₹800=$1400
So profit $1400-$1200=$200
Neither loss or gain?
