McKamey Manor has earned a reputation as the scariest haunted house in America It is located in Summertown, Tennesse. The owner of haunted house, Russ McKamey is offering $20,000 to anyone who makes it through the whole 10-hour ordeal. No one has ever completed this haunted house.
In an interview with The Guardian in 2015, McKamey admitted that a visitor once had a heart attack.
A visitor Laura Hertz Brotherton told Nashville Scene: "I still have scars of everything they did to me. I was repeatedly hit in my face, over and over and over again. Like, open-handed, as hard as a man could hit a woman in her face."
It has an extensive list of rules and requirements to visit.
Requirements to enter the house include:
•Be 21-years-old or older
•People aged 18-20 must have parent’s approval
•Complete a full “sports physical” and provide a doctor’s note starting you are physically and mentally fit
•Pass a background check conducted by the McKamey Manor team
•Be screened online via Facebook, Facetime or over the phone
•Have proof of medical insurance documents
•Signed a 40-page waiver
•Pass a drugs test on the day
